Robert Woodhead is the owner and co-founder of AnimEigo. While he and Roe Adams were working to to get the fourth entry of the original Wizardry game series finished in 1988, they had an idea to license Japanese films and get in the anime publishing industry started in the United States. This company became known as AnimEigo. He had also created the Virex (initially Interferon) anti-virus software for Macintosh computers, which was later bought out by McAfee.
